Cops

One thing that is difficult to adjust to when being married to a Cop, is that many of them tend to speak to their wives and children as though they are criminals. There are times when it would be nice for the Cop husband to come home and be as non-suspicious as a regular citizen, but it is difficult for them to take off that hat.

When the Cop gets mad at their spouse or children over mis-placed items or tasks that have not yet been completed, it is not out of the ordinary for the Cop to turn into an Officer of the Law - in the house.

Don't be surprised if everyone gets separated and statements are taken. It can get into interrogations depending on the "crime committed" in the house. Someone is going to jail (aka getting grounded) or going to be on probation (aka the leash gets tightened)

It angers them even more if you call them on what they are doing. Everyone goes to jail if he gets "dis-respected".
